Pura Vida Raw Bakery

We are very excited to have this wonderful bread available to our customers both in store & on-line. Not only does it have the health benefits of being a raw product, it is delicious and very filling… a must try product!

Why is Pura Vida bread so special?

Their bread is made with 100% whole and unprocessed, sprouted, living raw ingredients, not cooked or baked at high temperatures but gently and slowly dehydrated at 40 Celsius.

Gluten, wheat, yeast free, vegan and raw, high in protein, easy to digest and laden with the full spectrum of nutritional components, just as nature intended.

  • It is currently the only raw sprouted bread on the European Market.

  • They carefully prepare our seed ingredients by a warm soaking process to lower the anti-nutrient phytates, thus making the ingredients of our bread much more nutritious & digestible.

  • The bread is a complete and highly balanced food, providing: 50% carbohydrates, 17% fat & 14 % protein. It is an excellent travel, expedition and hiking food.

  • The bread is based upon traditional, flat-bread recipes of sprouted and then pulverised grain/seeds that were sun-baked on sterile stone bricks.

  • It is made from Biodynamic Buckwheat, a seed which is gluten free, has no relationship to wheat, nor the botanical category we call grain.

  • The bread is fortified with Omega-3 rich flax seed.
