The Fruit Tree Mango Fruit Spread Organic - The mango is a member of the Anachardiaceae family which includes cashews and pistachio. It is reputedly the most widely consumed fresh fruit in the world. It is the national fruit of India, Pakistan and the Philippines, also the national tree of Bangladesh.  It has been discovered that mangoes originated in northeast India, Myanmar and Bangladesh after fossil records were found there dating back 25 to 30 million years. Buddhist monks took mango plants on voyages to Malaya and eastern Asia in the 4th and 5th centuries BC. Therein after, it spread along trading routes across the world, popular for it's sweet taste.  250g.
