We are refreshing the look of the Natural Grocery Store Home Delivery Website Team. After 16 very happy and successful years Jo is retiring as Home Delivery Manager and Alina is stepping to the fore to fully take over the role. Come and meet the team:
A message from Jo:
Having joined The Natural Grocery Store in March 2008 when I moved to Cheltenham, I can honestly say that is has been a very exciting and rewarding role serving our Home Delivery customers over all of that time. Having got to know so many of you over the years and having been able to keep our primary focus as being an independent store with a great personal service, we have always offered quality produce to quality customers who return again and again. I hope that you agree that we have got that balance mostly right in the way we do it.
It only goes to say a huge thank you for all the support, kind words and productive feedback so many of you have offered in that time and I will certainly miss the feeling of kindred community from you, our customers, the very reason I have enjoyed working in this role for so long.
All things in life must change as we know and I feel that we have now orchestrated a great team in the very capable and trusted hands of Alina and Mike. They are now officially taking on roles that they have been training in for a little while. Alina has been my right hand woman since Christmas 2022 and is taking on the role as Home Delivery Website Manager, a position that she has been deputising for me in that time. Many of you will have spoken with her on the phone already and will know that her enthusiasm and can do attitude will stand her in good stead for a seamless transition.
Below is an introduction to the team:
Alina Botezatu – Home Delivery Website Manager
Website manager. Alina joined the company in March 2020. Having joined us at the beginning of the pandemic she came into the Cheltenham Store like a whirlwind of energy and was willing to turn her hand to anything that needed doing in order to help us to keep the Store and Website running and open for all of our new and long-term customers. She has worked in all areas of the Store which helps with her product knowledge and has been working alongside and supporting Jo in the web room since Christmas 2022.
Alina has taken on the mantle of Website Manager to look after all our wonderful Home Delivery Customers. We know that she will do a sterling job and be our primary source of contact with any queries and as quality control for your orders.
In her spare time Alina is the most fantastic cake baker and loves nothing more than getting out and about the local countryside on her bike with a book and a flask of tea to watch the sun rise and the flowers grow.
Mike Batchelor – Home Delivery Website Assistant
Mike has recently joined us in the Webroom to support Alina with picking and packing orders. He is ensuring that the pack room is run in a smooth and efficient manner with an eye on quality of produce, accuracy of orders and safely packing your goods so that they reach you in tip top condition.
Outside of work, music, art, football & cooking are his passions.
