St Emilion – the town and the wines – have long been popular with the British and this wine demonstrates why. 70% Merlot, 25% Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon is the blend. The vines have an average age of 40 years, giving the grapes good character and depth. Nicely textured wine with balanced tannins that make it a great wine for food. 75cl :
