Forget vinegary pickled beetroot, this chutney has all the subtle flavour of the king of root vegetables. A perfect accompaniment to cold meats, cheeses, potatoes or roasted vegetables. It was a winner in the 2003 Organic Food Awards – described by the judges as “honest and versatile”, just like my dad!
