Description
A traditional shape from Trapani in western Sicily, Busiate is crafted with organic whole ancient grains that are freshly milled and shaped within hours. Made with spring water from Mount Etna and bronze drawn for a coarse surface, this pasta is dried slowly at low temperatures to preserve its nutrients and flavour. The inclusion of wheat germ adds fibre and a nutty depth, while a low gluten index supports easier digestion. Its spiralled shape is perfect for chunky sauces, especially Sicily’s iconic Trapanese pesto.
